Thai Massage
A Thai massage is a traditional healing practice that combines acupressure, assisted yoga stretches, and deep rhythmic movements to relax the body and restore energy balance. Unlike typical oil massages, it’s usually performed on a mat on the floor, and you remain fully clothed in loose, comfortable attire. During the session, the therapist uses their hands, thumbs, elbows, knees, and even feet to apply pressure along the body’s energy lines (often called “Sen” lines). They also gently guide your body through a series of stretches that resemble yoga poses, helping to improve flexibility, relieve muscle tension, and increase circulation. The experience can feel both invigorating and deeply relaxing at the same time. Some moments involve firm pressure, while others focus on slow stretching and mindful breathing. By the end of the session, many people feel more limber, refreshed, and mentally calm.
